It is cleaned up once a month.

Ow, 1 month is very long.
I'm using this for just few hour but I got 309 folder's already.
Maybe change to couple of days or 1 week?

One folder each time you edit the template and some user triggers a cache renew. You edited a little too much recently but in practice, people don't do that too much. You can always run the cron entry if you want to clean up immediately

Ok, I'll monitor it regulary and we'll see...

You can change the cron entry yourself. But that will be reset every update though.

It's better this way because the first one is a big file. 100+KB and it is included in almost every page. The second smaller one is different from page to page.

Better to do that with nginx/Apache module. PHP can't beat native code with that kind of stuff.
