XF 2.3 Add thread discussion to add-on core system self

I want to understand if that I can create a discussion to own an add-on system would look like this,

localhost/naraka.1/mods/threads/

localhost/naraka.1/mods/threads/title.1/

{games}/{mods}/{threads}/{mod.id}

But this would only belong to an add-on that creates a node without the XenForo default node. So will this break the XenForo core in the future, or will it not?

It would be difficult to decouple threads from forums in an add-on, if that's what you mean.

However you could have the add-on create threads in a node which is not displayed in the node list, and likely find a way to use a different route scheme for the threads there if you're so inclined.
