As title - tap to open alerts list but if you don't tap an alert link and want to close the list, the expected action from tapping away on another part of the layout doesn't work.

This covers other links in he nav bar making it more difficult to get New threads, for example.

I can't replicate this on the iPhone 5 however I have had trouble getting rid of the search pop up on the iPhone 5.

I just logged into chrome on my iPhone 5. Still can't replicate it. Clicking outside of all popups close them for me.

Although when I was logged out I couldn't close the search one.

Now the search one won't close when logged in unless I click more options first. In both chrome and safari on the iPhone 5.

I can't actually reproduce this with the menus, though I can with the search menu. It has to do with iOS not bubbling clicks up to the body/document in many cases. I really don't get that.

I have done a workaround though (not rolled out yet).
