XF 1.5 İ did not receive password reset e-mail

Hello there,

İ tried to reset my xenforo forum site password , after i filled email and human verification, the system says password sent to your e-mail but i did not receive any e-mail. what should i do to fix this issue ? Thank you.

İ just received this email to my admin e-mail address :

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

Are you using the default mail server or SMTP? You can check the Email Transport Method setting at Email Options.

This. The snippet you sent narrows it down to an infinite amount of causes. Doesn't really help us find the source of your problem.

The first thing I'd recommend trying, as you said the email was received by your web host, is use professional SMTP mail sending services. Not that garbage provided by your web host.

Somewhere in there should be an error code. That should tell you what the issue is.

As it's related to a hotmail address, there's a strong possibility it's the same blacklist issue a lot of others have had/are having.
