I should have used this add-on years ago, but never did. With the newest photobucket watermarks and blurred images, is it too late for something like this to work? Anyone find a workaround to view clear un-watermarked photobucket images? Old threads on my site are almost ruined.
I have one forum set up as a simple classifieds with a few prefixes before the thread title. I'd like to display the users location after the thread title on the thread list for just that forum. I tried doing this a long time ago and couldn't get it to work. I'm running 1.5.8. Any help would...
I used to get an error like this every couple of days. Now I get 5-7 per day. I know it's something with bounced emails, but not sure what.

The update in the link you provided helped. Here's what I ended up with..
I wrapped the discussion list two divs and put the ad below.
<div class="forumViewContainer">

A little update. I fixed the constant suspicious file alerts by ignoring the whole directory.
I added the following to csf.fignore
/tmp/jna\-\-1985354563/
I'm not sure if it's the best solution, but I think the alerts were false positives.
Yes the importing server is a different server than the data originally existed on. The connection character set was whatever vb3.8 is set to by default. So it seems as though I was storing latin1 data in utf8 tables. Thanks for the help and explanations.
Bummer.
Why does this happen anyway? During the import it says "If you are setting a character set in vBulletin via config.php, you should enter that value here." I had nothing set in config.php. The server vb3.8 was on was set to UTF8 and the all of the tables in the database were set to...
Well I found a problem on the test site. Someone used é in a post since converting to xenforo and the é and everything after it is missing (all on the test site). Any ideas on how to fix my problem since the mysql dump and import didn't seem to work?
I tested and imported one vb3.8 site to xenforo a few months ago and it went well. Then a couple of weeks ago I did another forum, but instead of putting latin1_swedish_ci in the Force Character Set field, I accidentally put $config['Mysqli'['latin1_swedish_ci'] from my notes from previous...
I converted all of the existing links to albums and pictures in post using the post content find and replace add-on
For external links to albums and pictures, see the .htaccess I used here: https://xenforo.com/community/threads/redirects-after-vb3-8-import.114152/#post-1077538
Did you resolve this? I'm having the same problem.

Edited above to add redirects for tags
also all_albums.php
They seem to be working, but let me know if anything looks off. I used a lot of trial and error.
Thanks Jake!
For anyone else converting from vb3.8, here's the final .htacess I'm using in the /forum directory to account for these three types of old urls:
http://www.example.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=2741&pictureid=23505
http://www.example.com/forum/album.php?albumid=472&pictureid=2967...
Now that I have the albums redirected, now can I redirect the pictures?
How can I redirect:
This:
http://www.example.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=2741&pictureid=23505
To:
http://www.example.com/media/23505/full
?
I can't figure out how to make this work for XMG cache rebuilds.. It's over my head. I've spent hours rebuilding using the regular web based tools. How much faster is this compared to using the regular web based tools?
I used the last config and removed the catch all and it works! I then added the catch all back and it still works. Not sure what I did wrong last time I tried that, but thanks for helping out!
