I have entered my forum's default RSS into a feedburner. However, only some replied threads appear and only certain new threads appear. How and where in XF can I customize what goes out through my RSS feed?
I was more interested in the unalterable aspect of that command, and it does have some value, especially in the case of multiple admins / other special situations that don't necessarily have to do with just admin accts. But thanks.
I hope this is the correct place for my question as it does relate to making use of this add-on.
What I'm trying to do is create a Staff tab that lists the admins and mods. So, I already know I can Create New Page in the Node Tree, then NOT display in the node list and DO display as Tab.
I've said something before but any updates at all on this??
To not have a merge accounts feature in a forum software package is major, and this is really needed. (not really a tweak or 'small' feature, although that is where this thread resides)
In any case, this thread was started Oct '10...
Same problem. Good thing I installed it on a test forum instead of a live one. Reverted back to previous v of the DB and will leave uninstalled until some of the bugs mentioned earlier in the thread + this one, not being able to easily/cleanly remove the add-on can be resolved.
This is a great add-on - thanks Rob. Suggestion for the dev, add to Resources if it is not already there (didn't see it.) :) Thought I'd link to the thread on this for anyone who is looking for the same thing to make it easier to find.
I can also confirm that it works with 1.1.2...
Utterly lost here - hopefully someone can give me a little basic guidance. Please? :) Briefly looked through the 43 pg archive thread, but couldn't find the answer. Suppose I might have missed it, though.
1) Using XenPorta 1.5.2. Also have WikiNav: XenCarta Wiki Navigation (v 1.0.0) - eg, the...
What I'm looking for and that I think other forum owners could possibly benefit from as well, is an add-on (or perhaps it would be a template modification?) that would allow users to select an option not to have images display in threads.
This was rather handy in vBulletin for those users who...
I don't see a user selectable setting to not have images display in threads.
If the option does not currently exist, is there an add-on for it? I've been through the Resources and don't see anything there. Thanks.
I looked through the Resources and don't see anything for Thread Ratings. If I've missed it (which is entirely possible ) , would appreciate a link. If not, does anyone have plans to develop such an add-on? Thanks.
I may or may not know the answer but TBH, I really didn't understand your question, Teddy. Sorry. Maybe you could reword, rephrase and be a little more specific.
One thing in particular where you lost me is why you wanted to get rid of the scrollbar in the first place. Esthetics, maybe...
Could you elaborate please? Database query, and if so, what is the syntax? Thanks.
Edit - I read your post earlier in the thread:
No, not my situation at all.
Anyone have a query that would accomplish merging two users?
You can shorten the height of the chat window in ACP > Home > Options > Taigachat - Shoutbox Height
No idea about how to do away with the scrollbars. I suppose if you tweaked the settings so that the height and visible messages were low it might perhaps accomplish that?
But yes, it would also...
Is there a way or code that could be added to one of the templates that would allow users to open or close (eg, minimize) the shoutbox on the main forum page? Some members don't always like to always have that open, especially if they don't tend to use the shoutbox a lot.
Thank you for the reply, Jake. I read about Permissions the other day, as well as the Understanding Permissions thread, and it did help, but I'm still having one heck of a time grasping the concept.
I'll admit I was hoping to avoid having to redo all the admins/smods/mods to have Registered as...
