When I search for a member, who has zero posts, Xenforo gives me no results.
Of course, the user has 0 posts.
I would desperatley like to see the member profile-link when searching for the member, even if he or she has zero posts. So the profile can be checked.
Thanks alot :)
it would be great to toggle the notification-emails easily for one or more notifications. Right now it has to be done globally.
It's great to get a notification-email if you have one with a single person.
But if there more than one participant it could quickly lead to many emails...
After upgrading from 1.5 to 2.1.1 I checked the sitemap.
It usually took around 4 minutes to generate. After the update the first automatic generation shows no end-date, just "N/A"
I manually started the cron, but also "N/A" appears for the end-date.
When checking directly, it shows:
how can I disallow the use of
for guests and unregistered users?
For example: forum/find-threads/unanswered is being redirected to the login-page. How can I do that for
Or /whats-new in general?
currently I'm running the upgrade from 1.5 (latest) to 2.1.1
(started at around 280 k, probably these were the high ids from an old vbulletin-import)
public function step9($position, array $stepData)
sorry, another problem:
The default style seems to be broken after the move. After clicking the arrows on the navbar like "What's new", "Media", "Resources" and so on nothing happens.
And when installing an add-on, the script hangs and nothing happens.
How can I rebuild it?
I tried to...
I tried to move a XF2.0 Beta 6 to another host.
- pointed the domain's DNS to the new host
- disabled the secure certificate on the old site
- dumped the DB, uploaded it into to the new db on the new host.
- downloaded the files, uploaded it to the new host.
- changed the credentials in...
I run a xenForo 2.0 which was upgraded from 1.5 (with just a few posts).
Checking the tables, xf_template has 24 mb. Since the host where this forums runs has a max-db-size of 100 mb I would like to know if this size is normal and if there is a way to reduce the database-size.
Swift_TransportException: Email to xxx failed: Unsupported sendmail command flags [/var/qmail/bin/qmail-inject]. Must be one of "-bs" or "-t" but can include additional flags.
Any idea what that means?
when you insert attachtments into the post, they always get inserted like this:
Is there a way to insert one or more linebreaks after each attachment, so there is more space between the images? At least I couldn't find an add-on for it.
Is it possible to search for users with one post or (any other number) and display the post or even searching additionally for [url] in that post?
This would be ideal to find *all* of these hit-and-run SEO-spammers.
Thanks for any ideas on this.
I have a strange problem with mixed content after switching to SSL. I saw that all the smilies were served with http. Then I discovered that in the database in xf_smilie the image_url all had a direct link to "http". I think I did this several years ago when I was switching from vbulletin...
Actually I have just tried it myself.
Before this feature was core on Xenforo I used Andy's "New Conversation"-add-on. When the conversation was started, a email was sent for that conversation.
Now I switched to Xenforo's option and tested it with a new user I registered. The conversation is...
