I'm interested in Joomla 3.8 - XenForo2 integration, too. Using Jfusion now and it is right: Jfusion is dead.
Will pay for development of a simple bridge with user registration and double login/logout.
My last developed bridge costs more than 1000,- Euro and don't work. (n)
...the file manager addon for xenForo for those to transfer over or will vanilla xenForo handle those OK?
My main site is Joomla and I am using jFusion to synchronize the two, it does not look like this will be an option as it has been abandoned, and I do not see any bridges available for...
jfusion is dead, the integration with XF 1.x works on a very basic level (XF as master and J as slave here) but cause constant logout-issues in J since J3.8.x. It may be used as a start but I wouldn't use it on a new page.
...to do it for public or/and for me. I'm ready to pay max 100-200 euro (you can sell it for others too, it is not of from me :) )
Offers what i've got have been like 1200-1500$ for integration... lol.
EDIT: did jfusion made any XF2 integrations? If yes, I can try to make basic integration for...
At the moment my sites are working with the jfusion-plugin and I do not have any problems with this.
If the jfusion bridge for Joomla 3.x works in the same way there should be no reason to develope a stand alone bridge.
I would definitely chip in if it was'nt for a JFusion plugin.
JFusion was always (and sorry from the developers, I'm speaking from long experience) crappy, complicated and SLOW peace of software compared to all the rest of the Joomla bridges (for example BBpixel's Joomla bridges which speeds...
Could you tell me/us that how many concurrent members are we talk about in case of your sites?
My main problem with JFusion is the overhead that it ads (at least) quadrupling the server/cpu load that practically killed my dedicated servers (in my case the test beds were medium sites with...
Actually I agree with you about BBPixel. Unfortunately, they seem to have stopped their activity.
Concerning Jfusion, the developper told me that they made big efforts to simplify their soft and make it more efficient.
You still may have a look when it will be done and make your...
We are having an issue in making Single Sign On work between Xenforo 1.4.5 and Joomla 3.1
Using JFusion in Joomla and customising Joomla Bridge extension for Joomla, we were able to make users login to both Xenforo and Joomla from Joomla side of the site.
But Joomla Bridge module for...
...to 3.4) for articles and e-commerce features, we need to rebuild our bridge with Joomla.
After having tried (but with no success) to use the JFusion plugin developed by Coop, we decided to redevelop the plugin for Joomla 3 / JFusion 2.0.
We would like here to propose all users who may need...
...final results to share here and of course the development takes more time than I was expecting...
The current status is :
> the plugin for jfusion is under development
> the dual login part is already operationnal on joomla 3 / xenforo 1.4
> the developper is now finalizing the...
...make Joomla 2.5 (our current version - already working on upgrade to joomla 3) and XF work together but it seems this is a loss of time.
As JFusion does not take in charge any development for Xenforo and as the great Coop seems to have gone away, I am currently looking for a developper that...
Joomla 2.5 approachs the end of life and anyone should be upgrate to 3.3.x in the near future.
This Jfusion plugin did not work for Joomla 3.3
I would pay for a new bridge. Visual integration isn't important and the only thing that has to work is the
user integration in both systems, XenForo and...
...if it sounds interesting for someone.
@goyo : We happened to have such kind of peak times on our current platform (Joomla 2.5 / VB 3.8 / JFusion ) but most of the time we are at around 500-600 concurrent users. We did not have so much server problems and in all case did not identify any...
