    Basic MBP model. Non retina. Just the cheapest. Have since put my gaming rig SSD in it and upped the RAM to 8GB. Not that it wasn't already quick, but thought, why not? :)

    When I start getting a bit more income, I'll probably retire my Mid-2009 model Pro and get the 15-inch Retina. The screen is to die for.

    I was the same, 2 weeks ago I got the top of the range MBP 15" retina from a friend (who'd had it a week) for dirt cheap. LOVE the thing and my work flow has increased a lot. Loving it!

    I'm not trying out a fix. I can't verify myself that there's an issue. It works fine for most people. I'm just gathering evidence as to what might be causing the issue.

    The Resource Manager itself already includes this functionality. You just need to set the right permissions.
