Same happens on windows also. Im using latest version on Chrome on Windows 7. Tried to edit the same template as above with some content on the clipboard and it doesnt paste.

Im sure the guys have a roadmap that they are sticking too. To implement every single suggestion would just push back the releases further and further, and as we know not every suggestion will make it into Xenforo.
