I would like to strip all special characters from $__globals.thread.title variable. $__globals.thread.title|replace("/[^0-9a-zA-Z \-\_]/", "") doesn't work. How can I do this?

I would like to show the thread title and the category name inside an ads template (will only be shown in thread_view template). In XF 1.5 I used "{$thread.title}" and "{$forum.title}". These are not working anymore.

You already have an option "Maximum replace this keyword in message. ", so I could limit the keyword linking per post if I set this to "1". But the keyword would be replaced in other posts on the same thread page again and again. Maybe it would be nice to have only ONE replacement per page at all.
