mjda Nov 23, 2022 Hope the stain works for you. We painted the work bench at work probably close to 10 years ago and the paint is still rubbing off on projects. I left the one I recently built at home without any kind of finish, for that reason alone.

Paul B Nov 23, 2022 I put about 4 coats of polyurethane on it so it's completely sealed. It also helps with glue and paint clean up as it wipes off the finish easily. It's already scratched in many places but that's inevitable.
