Will multi-quotes work in 1.1, like for example on this thread if I quote post 2 then click page 4 and quote a post from there or would it cancel out quote from post 2?

It is not on the list for 1.1.
I guess there could be a lucky surprise .. but if I were you I would assume it is not in 1.1.

    For Multi-Quote,
Could Xenforo (and the browser) accept either of these inputs ...

    (1) control + left click on Reply button.
    (2) left click on Reply and hold for 4 seconds ?

    #2 would be the best.

Neither of those are very user-intuitive though, especially the second option when it comes to what the user is used to happening on the internet with single clicks and no other commands or wait times.

One of our users also asked about whether it would be possible to have multi-quote work across multiple pages. So I'd like to add my support to that :)

Edit: And is it possible to add a linebreak after the quoted text somehow without hacking the code?

Quoting across multiple pages is a current request of our users as well.

The two complaints we have from our users are that:

    1) Quoting automatically shifts the focus to the reply box at the bottom of the page and if you're trying to quote multiple posts you have to then scroll back up and find it again

    2) There's no multiple-page quoting which a lot of people are requesting

I think multi-quote is for power users only anyway.
They'll seek out how to multi-quote.
So I don't think you need to clutter up the GUI by having [Multi-Quote] buttons on every post.
There is a direct trade off between intuitiveness of the GUI and cluttering it up.
If you have a better idea, please suggest it.

I think if you hover over the Permalink [#108] in this post .... I think a popup that says: Append quote to clipboard ? and the user clicks YES. would work pretty well.

I honestly just realized the permalink is right to the left of the like and reply buttons.... But honestly, why make a user have to make more clicks if you don't have to? It's not like there's plenty of real-estate to expand

Yep we need that and a multi-quote link or button.

    yea that option is mandatory

Multi quote across pages and having an option to disable the quick reply focus are the things being requested by my community since we changed over.

+1 on my members demanding I get this back (bloody ppl are stuck in their vbulletin ways lol) anyway, I just had to quote 20 posts as part of a Q/A thread, click one quote, jump to the editor, scroll back up to the next post, click one quote, jump to the editor, scroll back up to the next post, click one quote, jump to the editor, scroll back up to the next post, click one quote, jump to the editor, scroll back up to the next post...

+2 on me requesting something be done, cause man, that **** got tiring after about 3 seconds
