Anybody interested for a hellban/shadowban add-on? Mar 25, 2013
Best of luck to you in the new year, alexD.
Hello alexD. I see that people are referring to you for Xenforo add-on jobs. I was wondering if you are busy at the moment with projects, because I have an add-on in mind that I would like to see created.
You may contact me via a private message with additional details.
Hello AlexD, I am astonished to discover recently that you created the checkpoint system we use on AVForums. Wow, thank you! We are now moving AVForums to Xenforo in August and I would like to know whether you are interested in creating a resource for it?
Hi Stuart, long time :)
I'm currently very busy with a project and have an additional one on hold. I'm planning to finish them till August, so I'll do my best to fulfill your request.
Would you prefer it if I got Chris Deeming to do it with credit to you? It's quite possible we are going to need to make changes to it to make it fit perfectly and 1.2 will mean some changes anyway.
No problem at all :)

In case you haven't seen it yet ;)
The add-on you are referring to still allows the banned users to know that they are getting restricted.
Besides, private/incognito browsing, with dynamically generated IP addresses/proxies (in case that add-on takes into consideration IP bans), can easily bypass the Evercookie persistence nowadays.
alexD how about a release of the AVForums Moderator Checkpoint System? :D
Hi, I'm quite busy currently :)
good for you ;)
Take you time, I think that the MCS can be a great product (also in a paid version)
Software is just like sex. Lots of people do it badly, a few do okay, and a precious few do it really really well.
